St . Vincent de Paul

The Conference was authorized to commence work in 1966. Since then we have had numerous members, some sadly deceased, who did great work for the conference. We are a visitation conference who bring hope and help to those in need. The range and complexity of problems which our members face have increased significantly due to the economic downturn. However due to the contributions we receive in our monthly church gate collections we are able to achieve most of our aims. We also receive great support from our local clergy.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is also involved at Diocesan level, organising Sunshine holidays for children at Balbriggan. The Advocate annual appeal in Raheny generously supports this project. We are also very grateful to the parishioners of Raheny for their immense financial contributions and gifts for our Christmas appeal each year.
